Right from the beginning, the quality of incoming materials is monitored for consistency in formulations for processing and desired physical properties of the product. Once the compound has been prepared, it is tested for its physical properties and tried for confirmation of process-ability. Subject to acceptance the material is released for production. At all stages of production go, no-go gauges, fixtures and digital measuring instruments are used to monitor dimensions. The gauges are occasionally crosschecked with calibrated measuring instruments. Sizing, marking and final inspection is done on jigs and fixtures. Endurance and destructive testing on the finished products is performed regularly.
